When Argus ONE saves a project file to disk, it creates a temporary file which at the end of the save process is copied to the destination you have specified as the target directory, and deleted then deleted. The temporary file is created in your system's default temporary directory, which is usually set up on disk C.
If you do not have enough disk space to host the temporary file, or if you do not have write permission to that disk or directory, the save operation will fail. To avoid this you should do one of the following:

On Windows XP, setting the screen saver to request a password when exiting the screen saver mode, may cause Argus ONE to pop a DOS window or to crash.
